May is Ocular Melanoma Awareness Month. A rare but dangerous disease, ocular (uveal) melanoma often develops without symptoms and is typically first detected during a dilated eye exam.

At Texas Retina, we have been caring for ocular melanoma patients for over 40 years and are fortunate to have two physicians who sub-specialize in treating this eye cancer: Dr. Timothy Fuller and Dr. Rajiv Anand.
