Starr Dog Behavior

Dogs love consistency. It’s how they learn their world and how to act in it. It’s also a big reason why they can struggle because they’re so used to repeating the behavior when placed in the same situations over and over again. The key difference lies in ourselves and how we manage the expectation with these said situations.

If we can learn to communicate properly with our dog, we can then slow down the process and efficiently move forward with a true understanding of what we expect in that situation. With repetition and consistency, we can then transform how our dog views that situation and solidify the understanding of doing it the right way.
