Freezing > fresh when they’re all gonna end up in a jar anyway!

This is from last year when I scored a big box of “canning” tomatoes. Can’t wait to harvest my OWN tomatoes this year. I fear I didn’t plant enough 😂

Everything you’ll learn from my page to see if I’m worth a follow 😉!

⭐️ Canning, baking, and making food from scratch with recipes all right here at the end of every video 🫙🍞

⭐️ Learning how to build a homestead on an acre of land - chickens, quail and soon to be goats and rabbits! 🐓

⭐️ Gardening content zone 9 👩‍🌾

⭐️ How to use plants and herbs for rem e d!3s

⭐️ Easy toxin free swaps to live a little more clean (I’m a stage IV cancer survivor)

My name says it all - BASIC homesteader. I’m not an expert in any of this, but I’d love to show you what I learn as I learn it!

I’m not aesthetic and I’m definitely a lil messy (watch my intro video where I prove that very thing 😂), but I’m real (f% #* AI) and just trying to show you how you can live a little more of a self sufficient life. One step at a time without using what you have, we’ll do it together.

Okay, love you, byeee! 👋

Did I make Dubai chocolate bars last night? Yes, yes I did. 🤤 And they were SO good!

If you have no idea what I’m talking about, these are the viral chocolate bars with a crunchy pistachio cream filling and usually quite expensive when you find a quality one at the store.

And yes, you can make the entire thing from scratch, but I didn’t want to. So here’s the recipe for yall and I’ll leave the Amazon info in the comments or you can view my FB stories to grab the link directly from there.

Let me know if you try these!!

Botulism doesn’t just appear out of nowhere.

In canning, botulism occurs when there are spores of Clostridium botulinum present, and in the right environment (low acid, no oxygen, moisture), they can germinate and produce the botulinum toxin. The TOXIN is what’s harmful.

So where do you find the spores? Typically in the dirt and sometimes in dust. (Although they did a study on home dust in Canada and found zero botulinum spores…)

With all that said, do your research and don’t let the system scare you out of being self sufficient.

Ps the botulinum toxin (what’s actually harmful) is neutralized after boiling the contents of the jar for 5-10 minutes, so there’s that. 😏

Trying my best to live a toxin free life as a stage IV breast cancer survivor.

Switching laundry detergents was one of the first swaps I made and I've been using Pronounce Labs products for 2 years now!

The link in my bio gets you 10% off or you can comment TOXINFREE and I'll dm it to ya!

Let me know if you try it!

The worst part of this entire build? 🏠🐓

THE NETTING 🤯 I had no idea netting would be such a pain, but between it catching on the fence and getting caught up in it myself, I was over it.

Probably took us 2 hours but the coop area and run is 95% complete! No more fear of blue jars or eagles 🙅‍♀️

Replying to it’s just me this morning so decided to open a jar without the eggs. After everything was heated, I cracked a single egg in there. (The breakfast jars with eggs have 2-3 eggs)

Super easy - took less than 10 mins and I have a complete fast breakfast!

Also, should’ve buttered up that cast iron better 😏

Chocolate + banana protein muffins! 🍌🍫

The perfect snack or easy grab and go breakfast! They freeze great, too. And my favorite thing about this recipe? I only dirty up one bowl! 😂

I’ve got the recipe at the end to screenshot or you can checkout the printable recipe with instructions on my site 🤍

The cattle panel trellis is up! 😍 It’s probably 6.5’ tall.

I have pickling cucumbers on the left and tomatoes on the right although I think my tomatoes are too far away, so now I’m planting pole beans.

We just staked 6 posts in the ground and attached the wire with heavy duty zip ties.

I can’t WAIT to see how this looks peak harvest!
