McReynolds Designs

Last night Janet Wilson McReynolds and I had dinner for the first time at a new restaurant called John’s Place in downtown Waxahachie. It’s an Italian restaurant located in the Rogers Hotel on the first floor. The food was delicious; we both ordered the lasagna. All of the pastas are homemade.

The atmosphere is great and the surroundings are all original to the hotel. All of the photos are of John’s family, and he’s planning on hanging more as he’s able to get them from family members in Italy.

The floor is the original mosaic tile and the ceiling is beautiful. We met the owner, John, and enjoyed a nice visit with him. We will definitely be regulars and look forward to our next meal there.

I designed this house for a client several years ago, and it was built in the Seis Lagos community of Lucas, TX. I always thought that this elevation style was very fitting among the Colorado Rockies, so that's where I told Gemini to set it.

I had Gemini create a rendered elevation of the house that I designed for my new neighbors across the street. They're in the process of pulling their building permit from the city now. I can't wait for it to be built and I'm looking forward to our new friends moving in!
