I help students gain the confidence to choose a career without feeling overwhelmed, identify their natural talents (CliftonStrengths assessment), and choose the right education to reach their goals. We’re here to help teens and emerging adults feel confident about their career paths. Our two signature approaches:
Be Career Courageous (for 20-somethings) and College Planning Untangled (for 16-19-ye
How often are you bringing up college + career with your teen?
Be honest…
If it’s more than once a week, it might be too much.
Constant conversations can start to feel like pressure…
and pressure usually leads to shutdown.
Try this instead:
Pick one day a week.
Come in with one topic.
Have the conversation…then let it go.
And here’s the important part:
If they come to you? Great. Lean in.
If they don’t? Give them space to think.
They don’t need reminders 24/7. They need room to figure it out.
👇 Parents, what’s been working (or not working) for you?

If your teen or young adult doesn’t have a LinkedIn yet…they’re already behind.
Not because they need a job today...
but because opportunities start before they’re ready.
Internships. Connections. First impressions.
It’s all happening online.
A strong LinkedIn profile helps them:
→ Get noticed earlier
→ Build real connections
→ Stand out (without sending 100 applications later)

For years, the message was simple:
Graduate.
Go to college.
Get a good job.
But not every student fits that path.
And forcing the wrong path can leave a young person feeling lost, discouraged, or like they’re already behind.
The real goal isn’t “college or not.”
The real goal is helping a young person figure out:
• what they’re good at
• what kind of work fits them
• what direction makes sense for their life
Because when a student understands who they are, the path becomes much clearer.
Parents — I’m curious:
Where is your teen right now? Clear direction or still figuring it out?

Watching your teen struggle with their future is hard.
You want to help…
but you’re not always sure what to say or where to start.
What most students really need isn’t pressure.
They need clarity.
Clarity about:
• who they are
• what they’re good at
• what direction fits them best
Once that clicks, everything else gets easier.
