No repentance by the Church or the Government(s) - mostly silence, inaction, and digging into the status quo. Since 1 Chron 7:14 is true, is there any thought being given anywhere that God might not be hearing now? When does God stop listening and start again?

Proper Christian response: What is prayer to God without repentance?

True repentance is a commitment to speak AND to act in a different direction. When it happens, you should hear and see the fruit that proves it.

Proper Christian response - listen and look for what pleases the LORD...believe THAT!

Scripture lets us know the reason behind everything including what we are seeing now with the social unrest. Folks have been getting "their cut" and don't want to give it up!
Ecclesiastes 5:8,9 - "If you see oppression of the poor and perversion of justice and righteousness in the province, don't be astonished at the situation, because one official protects another official, and higher officials protect them. The profit from the land is taken by all; the king is served by the field."

Proper Christian responses directed toward the right root cause...

Depending upon your cable or online news preference, you may be feeling a pull to take a position on: Black vs White or good cop vs bad cop or protester vs rioters or Democrats vs Republicans. The stand you take may also have you pulling down the other in order to elevate yours. For Christians, Amos 5:24 points us to God's position of "justice for all and injustice for no one. The one who doesn't believe in this is the enemy to us ALL!

Proper Christian responses is our position so that you, me, and us, the Church, can have the influence for Him that we are supposed to have.
