Cub Scouts
Cub Scouts offers citizenship, character, personal fitness and leadership for youth in grades K to 5. No matter what grade you are in, first through fifth, it can be a blast. Do you like to learn by doing? This is just the place. You can learn to tie knots, set up a tent, shoot a bow and arrow (archery). Have you ever cooked a meal on a campfire? Sent a secret code to a buddy? Built a birdhouse? P

The Snell family is one to celebrate! What an incredible legacy of - and it’s not stopping anytime soon!

Congratulations to the San Jacinto District Family of the Year!
The Snell Family represents 3 generations of Scouts and they have been active in the San Jacinto District for decades. Starting in 1990, adult leaders, Warren and Darline Snell, guided their 3 sons- Elliott, Ethan, and Evan- through the program and watched as they each earned the rank of Eagle Scout. Elliott Snell, and his wife Sarah are ASM’s in Scouts BSA Troops 848 & 849 Clear Lake Area, and Elliot is Cubmaster for Cub Scout Pack 389 Seabrook/El Lago. Their children are now part of the Scouting program with 2 having leadership roles in their Troop. Evan Snell is a Den Leader in Pack 1965 where his 2 daughters are Cub Scouts. Finally, Ethan Snell was a Den Leader in Pack 1965 prior to moving to Canada. However, Ethan’s scouting journey did not end with that move as they are active with Scouts Canada.
The Snell Family are common fixtures at District, Troop, and Pack events and represent the best that Scouting has to offer. Please join us in congratulating the Snell Family. We are grateful to all your years of dedication and cheerful service to Scouting. ⚜️🦅
