Sea Accounts

I have spent almost 3 weeks trying to figure out how to post this, but there is just no easy way and no way to do him the honor he deserves. So, with the heaviest of hearts, Sea Accounts, better known as Cyriz or Cy to the thousands who loved him, died expectedly on November 17, 2022. We had celebrated 20 yrs of my servitude to him in October. There is so much I want to say and share and hopefully in the days and weeks ago, I will find a way to do so. To say Chris and I are heartbroken is a gross understatement. But we have some comfort in that we were both there at the end, it was a freak accident that took him quickly and I believe with little pain. For those things, I am thankful beyond words, but God, it was years before I was ready.
To those who I have seen or talked to in the last 19 days, please forgive me for not telling you. This has been a hurt so deep that I just couldn't and as of this post, only 3 people outside of my parents knew (and them only last week).
For now, if you have a Cybaby, give them some extra love and if they seem just a little bit "more" than usual, know that they have a guardian angel looking over them now and sharing his spirit with them. I have witnessed this personally in the offspring I have.
I literally have thousands of pics and probably that many hours of video of him over 20 yrs. and so many people to thank for their parts in our journey, but for now I post the first pic of us together...the day that the most incredible wedding present, a 3 y,o. black OTTB stallion, son of a Kentucky Derby and with a slab fracture in his right arrived in our lives. Little did we know the incredible journey we were embarking on.

I am such a proud mama tonight. Cabulous DSH and Macy White successfully completed the East Coast 2021 NA Stallion Sport Test in the Jumper Division with an overall impression score of 8!! I send "Eddie" to Anne Hedge and Macy in March to be started and sold. He had never left the farm and hadn't been handled as much as I would have liked. He was supposed to be gelded the following week. Obviously, that appt was cancelled!!! Anne and Macy fell in love and bought him. Macy is a very accomplished Junior rider (she rode at Harrisburg last week!) and she has done all his training. Unlike most stallions going through the testing, he has not yet been shown and has only hung out at a couple. What the two of them have accomplished in less than 6 months is nothing short of incredible and has the makings of a fairy tale! What a testament to his amazing temperament and athleticism and her talent and dedication. I cannot wait to see what the future has in store for them and what he produces.
