Spring is around the corner, and the real estate market will undoubtedly be faster paced and competitive than in recent years due to declining interest rates and home inventory levels.

Just last year, the number of homes for sale in the DFW metroplex increased from approx 42,000 to 53,000 from February to May! Currently, there are just under 41,000 homes available for sale, so now is the time to “beat the spring market rush”. A year ago, mortgage interest rates were hovering around 6.80%, and currently they are around 6.10% and dropping!

If interest rates keep dropping or fall below 5%, we will see a frenzy of buyer hit the market and add more competition for home purchases. Now is the time to get ahead of the curve and make a move.
