My first book to be published, "Louder Than Words," is the story of "The Cloud That Rains Tears," a poem I wrote in high school. It is in the editing stage currently, and I have already started my second book, "Not Juliet." I am excited to have a Facebook presence and a place to keep you updated on the final stages of publication.

I’m sitting in a conference for the company I work for, and just so happens my team mates and friends are all either late, not coming or not findable. So I found a seat next to a stranger. I realized about 5 minutes in that my old self would never have even walked into this room with out someone familiar by my side, let alone sat down ALONE. And certainly would not have been happy about it! But here I am. Introduced myself to said stranger. Gaining some knowledge. No anxiety. No fear. No burning desire to run away. I’m ok. I’m actually perfectly ok with this. For those of you who have always been ok with such a scenario, you may not understand how much of a blessing this is. I have come a long way from my childhood prison. I found so many new freedoms since that day when I was 19 and was given knowledge of what was wrong and the keys to let me out of that prison. It’s been a long road. And while so many anxieties fell away that day, it has taken me this long to get here: To be perfectly ok to sit in a crowd of people all alone. Healing takes time. And I believe it sometimes requires you to make a choice to do the things that will facilitate healing. I’m sure I am not done healing either. But I am free. And if you’re one of those reading this that does understand what that kind of anxiety feels like, I encourage you to make a choice to facilitate your own healing.

So I was originally unclear about the manuscript review. I had thought the editing would be completed at the same time. Editing didn't start until after that was finished. Sooo, editing is scheduled to be done in about 4 weeks and then production starts. Making progress!
