Crawford Rope Horses

I’ve been real quiet….well it’s easy to do when you feel inadequate. Roping has never been easy for me. I’m not naturally good at it. I have to work hard…probably harder than most and I don’t discount anyone’s work ethic but I know me. This past few months I’ve been beaten and no one likes to get beat. Especially when I’ve beaten myself. Roping and rodeo is way more mental then it’s is skill. If you put in the work the skill is there. So yes I’ve been quiet, I’ve been mad, I’ve been defeated, and most of all disappointed in myself. But no matter what I’m not out. I will go home, but you can bet I’m going to be back. I’m going to go home work more on myself probably harder than I ever have before. Because I refuse to let me beat my own self. The only way to get better is to know that it’s possible and even though I may not look very good right now I refuse to let that stop me. I will continue to have a strong faith and know that even though this path hasn’t gone anything like I have wanted it, I will listen and follow and stand strong in my faith!! It’s way past time to relight my fire and get back to what I’ve know all along!!
