Carbon monoxide poisoning cases are rising.
Virginia hospitals are reporting an increase in emergency room visits tied to carbon monoxide exposure during this winter storm. Gov. Abigail Spanberger and the Virginia Department of Health are urging residents to use heating and power sources safely and to listen to CO alarms.
• Run generators outdoors, 20 ft from buildings
• Never use grills or heaters indoors

Gov. Spanberger warns of rising carbon monoxide poisoning cases, urges caution Gov. Abigail Spanberger is urging Virginians to follow the Virginia Department of Health (VDH) recommendations for carbon monoxide exposure.
