Such a tragic loss of life. Make sure your CO Detectors are properly working. If they alarm, get outside and call 911.

Gov. Spanberger warns of rising carbon monoxide poisoning cases, urges caution 02/02/2026

Please be diligent and make sure you have working CO detectors.

Carbon monoxide poisoning cases are rising.

Virginia hospitals are reporting an increase in emergency room visits tied to carbon monoxide exposure during this winter storm. Gov. Abigail Spanberger and the Virginia Department of Health are urging residents to use heating and power sources safely and to listen to CO alarms.

• Run generators outdoors, 20 ft from buildings
• Never use grills or heaters indoors

Check your alarms this winter, everyone!

The Summit will be held in conjunction with the NASFM Conference, providing exposure to more than 300 fire chiefs, state fire marshals, inspectors, and public-safety decision-makers. In addition, this year will include a wildfire firefighting educational program as well as a battery and energy storage symposium, attracting several hundred more participants. This is a unique opportunity to position your organization directly in front of the leaders who influence policy, procurement, public education, and safety programs at scale.

If you would like to discuss how sponsorship can add value to your organization, please contact me, Kevin Singer, directly at 248-408-8266 or [email protected]. I would be glad to talk through the options and explore the best fit for your goals.

Thank you for taking the time to review the packet. We hope you will consider partnering with us.

Sincerely,
