Dryad Grove
This bag was fully colonized and looking solid... but that's not the end of the story. We break it up to wake the mycelium back up and spread that growth evenly through the bag.
More contact points = faster, stronger colonization. That fluffy white growth at the end? That's healthy, active mycelium doing its thing.

We first want to take a moment to acknowledge the damage that came through Mineral Wells this past Tuesday. Our hearts are with this community and everyone affected by the tornadoes. We’re keeping you all in our thoughts and hope to support in whatever ways we can in the days ahead.
We will be out at Let's Grow Crazy this weekend, and we’d love for you to come by and see Connie. Showing up for local markets right now is one small way we can all help support the community.
We’ll have all our usuals available—fresh mushrooms, mushroom jerky, broth, extracts, gummies, and infused honey.
It’s shaping up to be a beautiful weekend, even if it’s a little on the chilly side, and we’re looking forward to being out there with everyone.

Check out what we were cooking up last week. Mike was hard at work making sure that everyone had their spicy teriyaki jerky. It's become a customer favorite at most the markets.
We want to know, which is your favorite: spicy teriyaki or sweet teriyaki jerky? Also is there another flavor you'd like to see us try? Leave your answers in the comments!
Got home a few hours ago from the markets - we had three today!
We sold out of blues and Lions Mane (thanks y'all!) and I could have sold more if I had them. We brought just a few back with us, not bad at all!
Market days can be a lot, but we are so grateful for this community that continue to show up for us week after week. ❤️ Truly, thank you.
Now it's time to rest! After we harvest mushrooms that is. The job of a mushroom farmer is never complete!

We’ve got a busy Saturday ahead and we’d love to see you out at one of our stops tomorrow!
You can find Dryad Grove at THREE markets:
• The Clearfork Farmers Market (8–12)
• Cowtown Farmers Market (8–12) — Spring Festival is happening!
• Hood County Farmers Market (9–12)
We’re bringing a beautiful fresh lineup this week — blue, white, and pearl oyster mushrooms plus lion’s mane. If you’ve been waiting on fresh mushrooms, this is a good week to grab some.
We also just finished a new batch of our spicy teriyaki mushroom jerky 🔥
Broth will be limited, so come early if that’s on your list!
And of course we’ll have plenty of extracts, gummies (including more reishi!), and infused honey stocked up and ready.
Come grab your favorites, say hi, and enjoy a great morning at the market.

This bag of Lion’s Mane may not look like much yet… but to us, it’s huge.
Today we inoculated our 500th batch. That means we’ve officially inoculated over 9,000 bags since we started tracking our process.
9,000 bags of substrate
9,000 chances to grow something from nothing
9,000 steps in building this farm, one batch at a time
Every single one represents early mornings, long days, learning curves, wins, losses, and a whole lot of persistence.
When we started, we were just figuring things out as we went. Now we’re dialing in systems, tracking data, and continuing to grow something we truly believe in.
This one bag might look simple…but it carries 500 batches worth of experience behind it.
We’re really proud of this moment.
And we’re really grateful you’re all here with us for the journey!
