Most people know their cholesterol. Very few know their Lipoprotein(a). And that number can change everything. ๐ซ
Lipoprotein(a), or Lp(a), is a genetically inherited cardiovascular risk marker. It does not respond meaningfully to diet or exercise. You can look lean, eat well, have โnormalโ cholesterol, and still carry elevated risk if this is high.

She brings expertise in chronic disease management (including diabetes, hypertension, thyroid issues, obesity, mental health, and hyperlipidemia), womenโs health at every stage of life, urgent care, and a wide range of office procedures. In addition to English, Dr. Ahmed is fluent in ๐๐ซ๐๐ฎ, ๐๐ข๐ง๐๐ข, ๐๐ง๐ ๐๐ฉ๐๐ง๐ข๐ฌ๐ก, allowing her to serve diverse patients from all walks of life.
