Hello! here taking over this account as a virtual artist in residence.
Sadly my trip to Texas wasnt possible, but I'll be sharing work and ideas here all week!
These three drawings are part of a series I'm working on based on a set of paintings by Rubens and Brueghel on the 5 senses. See if you can guess which sense each of these drawings represent...? And which I have left to do! (Apologies for wobbly camera work, was trying to walk and cover the glare of my daylight lamp!)

Tough to pick a favorite from the current exhibit but takes the cake. A brilliantly subtle blend of materials and messaging that creates a harrowing nostalgia that resonates and reminds us that societal expectations haven’t shifted as far as one would hope.
