Currently I am a Sophomore and my first year at ACAP I was exposed to a multitude of like minded people that I wasn’t used to. This experience allow me to work with people just like me in my day to day life and not be jealous of them but learn from them.

Accomplishments to Date
In January of 2019 I won 1st place in BPA competition: Fundamental Accounting

Business Ivy Participant: Taking Macroeconomics in 10th grade

What advice would you give current ACAP students?
Don’t be afraid to be the best you when you are surrounded by a lot of talented people. I would also say don’t be afraid to speak up and be a leader because in the end it helps you.

Being involved with ACAP helped me network better with others, began building my professional presence, and develop stong stong connections with other students I met during the program.

What advice would you give current ACAP students?
There is always someone willing to help with anything you need! Don't be afraid to ask for help, and have fun in the process!

Being involved in ACAP was my first exposure to real numbers aside from standardized test. ACAP exposed me to the power of networking, working with others and establishing a fountain of support.

- Jarvis Christian College Presidential Scholar
- HBCU Leadership Summit Participant (TMCF, UNCF, and White House HBCU Initiative
- Jarvis Christian College C/O 2018 Valedictorian

Athletic:
- National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics(NAIA) Scholar of the year (4x)
- Jarvis Men's Soccer Captain (2x)
Personal:
- Role Model for my siblings.
- Make my mentors hard-work and care worth while.

What advice would you give current ACAP students?
Trust the curriculum. Build a relationship with the students/your team. Keep the connections current.

We are so excited we just added one of our ACAP Alums from 2010 to our ACAP BOD - Darius Thompson. This reflects what ACAP mission is.
