50 households now have access to with the distribution of water filters in the village of Yuya, Kenya. The well pictured is 60 feet deep and was hand dug at a cost of $100. As with many hand dug wells, the water is still not safe to drink directly, but by using the filters, they can eliminate typhoid and many other water borne diseases
This water well on Morogoro, Tanzania will serve over 300 people from the surrounding community. commissioned this well to be drilled, resulting in a very nice water source. Water is scarce and when it is available, the quality is questionable so this should improve the lives of everyone living nearby. The water is available to everyone.
