My clients often ask me about driving ownership and accountability within their organizations. Often this is accompanied by big, bright eyes and a general pause, eagerly waiting for a magical answer that resembles a Grand Slam in baseball! I truly wish for them it was really that easy. Well, I'm here to say it can be. Driving ownership and accountability in a team, an organization or a community has its roots in human behavior. Ask yourself, "what specific behavior am I looking for in my team," what can I see them do, that can be identifed (in this example) as ownership and accountability? Answer that, and you can achieve it!
