At just 9 years old, Gary Littrell watched paratroopers descend over Fort Campbell and knew that life was calling him.
He joined the Army on his 17th birthday with a contract for Airborne School, then spent 22 years serving alongside the soldiers and community he came to love.
What began as a childhood dream became a lifetime of service.
