LET'S DANCE SALSA 101 is an awesome way to quickly immerse yourself in Latin/Afro-Caribbean culture. There is no homework, it's all about learning at a pace that's comfortable for you, and having fun at the same time. What makes this class awesome? In addition to learning to dance SALSA, Monica Salas & Otis Gray will teach you about the music behind the dance, the musicians, the history, how to play basic Salsa rhythms on latin percussion instruments, and a weekly update of the hottest events in the DFW Latin Jazz/Salsa scene.
