Mind over Mess

This was a fun day of decluttering and organizing. My client was totally good with using bins I already had from a previous job.
A few of them didn’t match which threw me off but it’s about the client. We worked in 2-3 hour increments. She had some decision fatigue happening. Which very common.

A little office clean up. My client shared she really avoided entering this room because it was very overwhelming. She was able to conquer the room that was taunting her so much. I’m so proud of her.

My client did amazing getting this room decluttered. We used a technic called body doubling. This technic means you’re working alonsgside the person. It helps to stay focused and motivated on the task. It can also help keep you accountable.
Some clients make my job really easy. We came up with the idea of making this into a guest room and not a catch all room.

Pantry complete refresh. Two trash bags full left this space. I truly hope this helps the family function better and helps the daily flow go smoother.

The Baggebo 4 tier shelf from Ikea is fantastic.
I needed something that would utilize the vertical space to hold shoes. This shelf was exactly what I was looking for.
I have also used it for pantry updates.
You can even anchor it to the wall if needed.
It’s very reasonably priced. I think it’s $20.

This project took a few minutes of sorting and putting items in bins. Super quick and easy tidy makes a load of difference.
