Dear journal, Didn't get time yesterday so here's my update... Went with the ruler and her offspring to a remote conference. When I asked what time our flight was, she just laughed... She had made arrangements for us to travel by mini-van... Yes you read that correctly. MINI-VAN!!! I also had to install temporary headrest entertainment for the offspring. I did mention if we had flown, that the plane comes with the screens already installed, but she didn't seem to hear me, and I certainly wasn't brave enough to repeat myself.

In a separate instance, she had said something (I can't remember exactly what it was) and I being the supportive person that I am agreed with her. Apparently this was the wrong thing to do because she then uttered a short expletive at me and kept walking... It didn't seem to be in earnest, but I received her point and kept quiet. I wonder if there will be a new memo about my future input to her comments.

Today was my first day of half days at work. It was so amazing! I was able to monitor some of the software and track down issues. I finished a short required training class on IT security as well as fired off about a dozen emails. It was great, but it took about 15 times longer due to the youngest two offspring and their constant interruptions.... "What can i have for snack?", "She's so annoying, can she go someplace else?", "When will mom be home?"... I fear that I might have to lock them in their rooms. But if I do that, there may be a larger backlash from the ruler and a possible demotion... Not sure how to handle this one... I wonder if there is an SOP or Job Aid somewhere.

This afternoon, I return to my exile from work. I am supposed to take the male offspring to some sort of place where he can buy supplies. I'm not sure if they are supplies for himself or for the kingdom, but I will follow the ruler's lead on this one.

Tomorrow i get to enter expense reports! Never thought I would be excited to do that! Unfortunately there are no meeting scheduled, but maybe that will change. Wish me luck!
