The Creation
Behind the scenes sketch of a mural project I’m working on in Arlington, TX. This week I’m working on updates, refinement and color exploration for the mural. The inspiration is pulled from Ancient Greek vase design illustrations. The concept centers around the goddess caffeina, as she meets the lion of Arlington to create and roast the first cup of coffee. I’m creating this for a local coffee shop, in partnership with an upcoming rebrand for the company. I’ll be executing a full scale interior mural that will create a storytelling piece for customers in the shop. I’ll share more as I go along, but wanted to tease the work behind the work as I make progress towards the installation.
