At Carter BloodCare we strive to care for our community, and we are proud that the donations made by our loyal and kind donors first and foremost serve local patients. After our local patients' needs were met this past week, we were able to supply Bloodworks Northwest in the Pacific Northwest with units to help them during their struggle with COVID-19 since their facilities are unable to make regular collections due to heightened precautions. Blood centers throughout the country come together in times like this, and we’re proud we were able to help.

However, for us to keep our supply at a level where we can help local patients and be prepared for future needs from other centers, we need YOU. Please give if you’re able, keep your regular donation appointments, keep hosting your upcoming blood drives, and of course continue to encourage others to !

Remember: there is no substitute for human blood.
