Reading Randy Hill’s book, Encounters: Stories of Healing, is like getting the original behind the scenes interview with the amazing people of the Bible, providing amazing insight into their thoughts and feelings. Even more, each unabridged dialogue, based on the Scriptural account, has present day application, enabling the reader to readily identify with each character. I now feel like I intimately know the people I had previously only known from a distance in my past reading of the Bible. It’s like going to Israel today, and walking in the footsteps of Jesus, as he would have traveled from town to town. I will never read the Bible the same!
