This is one of the most special cakes that I have baked . This one for my sister’s baby shower. It was a little tricky as my sister lives in a whole different country and we were short on time. I baked all the sponges and made my buttercream all at home and then built the cake at her place. It was quite a feat😀😀.. but I was super happy that I could bake for this special event. Vanilla cake, filled with strawberry mousse covered with strawberry Swiss buttercream. Specks of gold, fondant baby clothes and flowers complete the look. It’s all about blue hues!!

My younger one turned 2 and since we didn’t get a chance to celebrate his big 1 we celebrated his big 2. Hot air balloon theme cake in pastel blue, white and gold. A handmade hot air balloon with teddy bear to complete the look. Inside a chocolate cake with chocolate ganache and cookie butter buttercream and biscoff cookie crumbles.
