This beautiful couple in their 60s lived in a large home — but with the kids grown and gone, it started to feel a little too big… and a little too empty.

“What will happen with the house as you both get older?”

They didn’t need all that space anymore — just a cozy area to enjoy this season of life together.

🏡 A Home That Told a Story

Recently, we had the honor of helping a young woman remodel her home — but this wasn’t just any project.

During our design session, she looked at us and said,
“Please pay close attention to the kitchen.”

Why?

Because she was bringing her grandmother home.
An 80-something retired chef, still full of life and passion for cooking.
She was moving her from a nursing home to live with her — to honor her, care for her, and give her a space where she could continue doing what she loves most.

This wasn’t just a renovation.
It was a legacy move.
It was love.

So we designed a kitchen made for more than just meals:
✨ Filled with natural light and love
✨ Wide, open spaces for movement and ease
✨ Storage within reach, comfort at every turn
✨ A space where memories could still be made

When she saw the final design, she smiled and whispered,
“This feels like love.”
