Texas Parks and Wildlife Magazine used an image of mine on the cover of its May 2026 Birding issue of a white-eyed vireo in the Texas Hill Country. I am always proud to be in TPW magazine.

White fawnlily (erythronium albidum) blooming in winter, Tandy Hills Natural Area, Fort Worth, Texas, USA. Tandy Hills Natural Area is a protected remnant of the Fort Worth Prairie ecosystem just east of downtown. It is one of North Texas' most amazing natural ecosystems. The fawn lily blooms in the woody understory of forests adjoining the prairies.
