Sooooo that state park we went to two weekends ago…. We drove over 3 hours to get there just to be told they were at capacity! I’ve never been turned away from a state park before even without a reservation. Needless to say, we will always make reservations going forward 😂
Not all was lost though, we found a lovely, and pretty large, park up the road and hiked there!
Are you a reservation type or just show up type?!

I felt this photo matched my current mood perfectly. Trying to look ahead while surrounded by storm clouds. I spoke about stress and how we all handle it last week and truly don’t want to focus on the negative. I’m simply in a funk. While I can’t explain exactly what’s going on, I’m giving myself the grace to work through it. You don’t have to have an answer or explanation all the time. Sometimes sitting in your silence is enough. And for me, this week, it’ll have to be 🤍
