It seems that drug testing rests on a strange premise: that human bodies are generally alike.

Bodies are not only different “genetically,” they are different psychologically and in the kinds of daily inputs and outputs they function under. These, at least, create different internal chemistries, both at the baseline and functioning levels.

There are many more differences, besides.

If a drug ends up having only 60% efficacy — or even 10% – wouldn’t it be worthwhile to examine which specific bodies it was effective in and which specific bodies it was not?

Then, experiment further, and discover if a pharmaceutical intervention is, indeed, a kind of “wonder drug” for some specific type of person most (if not all)of the time?

Good for 63.

I hope I can inspire others to find their groove with their health. The payoff is incalculable.

Listen to your body. Pay attention to late-breaking science. Don't accept your own or other people's ideas about limits.

Do the daily work—it's a joyful business.

“The body is innocent. Deeply, beautifully, fundamentally innocent.”
