Barber's debut novel, TRUTH BE TOLD (originally published as ARE YOU SLEEPING), is the basis for the brand new Apple TV+ series of the same name, produced by Reese Witherspoon’s media company, Hello Sunshine, and stars Octavia and Aaron Paul.
Kathleen’s love of writing started at a young age, and just a few years after graduating Northwestern University School of Law and practicing as a lawyer, she made the decision to commit full-time to writing and following her passion.

🎙🎶 Tremayne B. Smith began as Director of Bands at Rocky Mount High School in Rocky Mount, N.C where he grew the band’s membership by 500% in 3 years. He then served in the offices of U.S. Senator Kay R. Hagan, (D-NC), Congressman G. K. Butterfield, (D-NC) and Congressman Conor Lamb, (D-PA). Currently, Tremayne is the Special Assistant to the President & CEO of the JPMorgan Chase Institute.
