Last night, the City of Waxahachie officially dedicated Eastham Way, honoring the remarkable legacy of the Eastham family and their lasting contributions to Ellis County.

For our Ellis County Title family, this recognition holds special meaning. As a company owned by the Pitts family, we have had the privilege of witnessing firsthand the values of service, stewardship, and community that have defined both the Eastham and Pitts families for generations.

Jack B. and Francis Peters Eastham devoted themselves to the growth and well-being of Ellis County, leaving an enduring mark on the community they loved. Their daughter, Evelyn Eastham Pitts, carried that legacy forward through her passionate dedication to preserving the history, heritage, and character of Waxahachie. Alongside her husband, former State Representative Jim Pitts, she spent her life investing in the people, places, and traditions that make our community unique.

Eastham Way is more than a road name. It is a lasting tribute to a family whose commitment to Ellis County continues to inspire future generations.

We are proud to celebrate this well-deserved honor and the legacy of service, leadership, and community that the Eastham family stewarded so well.
