💙 Meet Camila 💙

Camila is a proud first-generation graduate of East Texas A&M University, where she earned her degree in Social Work in 2024. As a ScholarShot alumna, she credits the program for providing the guidance and support that played a key role in her academic journey. 🎓✨

Now serving as an Academic Manager, Camila is passionate about helping first-generation students navigate higher education and is dedicated to giving back to the same community that supported her along the way.

Rhesa brings over 15 years of nonprofit leadership experience, having served as a program manager, development director, and executive director in various nonprofits. She’s passionate about connecting communities and building relationships that lead to meaningful investment in brighter futures.

As the Development Director, Rhesa is eager to strengthen ScholarShot’s funding strategies and expand our community of supporters.

The mission of ScholarShot resonates deeply with Rhesa—not only professionally, but personally—as a mom to college students herself. She earned her bachelor’s degree from Abilene Christian University in 1999. Outside of work, Rhesa is an avid reader and writer, a loyal Texas Rangers fan, and a Swifty!
