Today, the FAA implemented The Recreational UAS Safety Test (TRUST) for all recreational drone flyers. Passing this test is required, and you must be able to show proof of completion to authorities when asked. To learn more about the TRUST, visit bit.ly/3gTwrxy.

The Declaration of Compliance website is now available at https://uasdoc.faa.gov! Users may submit Means of Compliance and Declarations of Compliance documents for Remote ID under Part 89 and operations over people under Part 107.

We've updated our drone registration process to meet the new Remote ID requirements. Registration requires make, model, serial number (if applicable) and remote ID serial number (when available) along with your phone number. Register your drone for $5 at https://faadronezone.faa.gov.
