Testimony Tuesday | I Give God My All

📖 Romans 12:1 (HCSB)
“Present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God…”

I remember seeing a sign that said: “Uncle Sam Wants You."

I didn’t fully understand it growing up—but I understand this now:

There is someone greater than Uncle Sam…
And He is calling you.

👉 God is looking at you and saying, “I want you.”

Not because you have everything together—
but because He can use you just as you are.

Some may say:
“I don’t have the talent.”
“I don’t have the gifts.”

But God says:
“I’ll take you, and do something great through you.”

Like Henry McNeal Turner, who gave his life fully to God’s service, we are reminded that God doesn’t require perfection—He requires surrender.

All He asks…
is that we give Him our lives as a living sacrifice.

And when we do that—
we can help turn the world right side up.

So the question is:

👉 Are you willing to give God your all?

Celebration Sunday | Victory In Jesus

📖 1 Corinthians 15:57 (NLT)
“But thank God! He gives us victory over sin and death through our Lord Jesus Christ.”

I’ve always liked being on the winning side.

When I was younger, I’ll be honest—if my team was losing, I might have switched sides. But as I grew, I learned what it means to stay committed… win or lose.

But with Jesus, there’s no need to ever switch sides.

Even when He was on the cross, and it looked like defeat…
that was never the time to give up.

Because with every blow He took,
every tear that was shed,
and every drop of blood that fell…

He was preparing the greatest comeback victory in history.

Victory over sin.
Victory over death.
Victory over the grave.

Like "William Still," who persevered through danger to help others find freedom, we are reminded that true victory often comes through endurance and faith.

And here’s the good news:

👉 That victory is available to everyone.

All you have to do… is join the winning side.

Family Friday | I'm Not Alone

Psalm 16:1 (NLT)
“Keep me safe, O God, for I have come to you for refuge.”

One of the greatest struggles we face today is isolation.

So many people feel alone, disconnected, and without real companionship. What once felt like strong communities has, in many ways, become silent struggles behind closed doors.

But God has the answer.

When you are with Him, you are not alone.

And something powerful happens when you walk with God—He doesn’t just meet you in your solitude, He surrounds you with others who are walking with Him too.

That’s why community matters.
That’s why the church matters.

Like "Robert Smalls," who found courage and strength even in isolation, we are reminded that God is with us even in our most difficult moments.

He is:
✔ Your Provider
✔ Your Protector
✔ Your Promise Keeper

When you place your life in His hands, you are in good hands.

Today, be thankful—you are not alone.

Thankful Thursday | Happy is the Man

Psalm 1:1–3 (HCSB)
“How happy is the man who does not follow the advice of the wicked… Instead, his delight is in the LORD’s instruction…”

Do you want to know how to be truly happy?

It’s simple: Walk with God.

The greatest joy in my life has come from walking with Him. When I walk with God, I am safe and secure—even when life doesn’t look the way I expected.

Some may say, “You’ve been walking with God, but I don’t see the results. You’ve lost things. You’re struggling. Where is your God?”

My answer is this:

You can’t see Him because maybe you’re not walking with Him.

You can always recognize someone who is walking with God. No matter the circumstances, there is a peace about them—a calm assurance.

Why?

Because God is watching over them.

Like "Richard Allen", who stood firm in his faith despite adversity, we are reminded that true stability comes from being rooted in God.

Today, be thankful that you can walk with Him.

You have the greatest Companion in the world walking right beside you.

Jesus Saves

📖 John 3:17 (GNB)
“For God did not send his Son into the world to be its judge, but to be its saviour.”

From Adam and Eve until now, every one of us has fallen short. By our own actions, we all deserve condemnation.

But here is the good news, God didn’t send Jesus to condemn us… He sent Him to save us.

That is shouting news.

For every wrong committed, for every failure, for every sin—God made a way through Jesus Christ.

From the one who has made the biggest mistakes to the one quietly struggling, His offer is the same:

**Salvation. Grace. New life.**

Like "Charles A. Tindley", who preached and wrote about the saving power of Jesus, we are reminded that no one is beyond God’s reach.

If you are reading this and you desire to be saved:

👉 Acknowledge you need saving
👉 Believe Jesus can save you
👉 Come and follow Him

Jesus didn’t come to condemn you—He came to rescue you.

Praise the Lord 🙌🏾

📖 Psalm 29

Reading Psalm 29 sends chills through my bones.

Today, we often speak of praise and worship teams as something modern—but worship is older than time itself. Psalm 29 gives us a glimpse of heaven, where the first “praise team” was already in place.

As God speaks, creation responds.

The seas roar.
The trees bow.
The deserts tremble.

Everything responds to His voice.

And it leads us to a powerful question:

What about us?

Do we respond to God’s voice with the same awe, reverence, and praise as His creation?

When you reflect on who God is—His power, His majesty, and what He has done in your life—you cannot help but give Him praise.

Like **Lucy Craft Laney**, who lived a life of faith, worship, and service, may we lift our voices and honor God in all we do.

Take a moment today to reflect on His goodness—and let praise rise from your heart.
