Resource Center has named Christopher Wagley as its incoming Chief Executive Officer.

Wagley brings more than 30 years of experience building mission-driven institutions. He currently serves as Chief Operating Officer of KERA, where during his 16-year tenure he helped grow the organization into a multi-platform public media outlet operating PBS, NPR, Classical and Triple-A stations alongside a local newspaper. He also played a key role in KERA's $100 million capital campaign and helped lead the organization's Membership and Corporate Sponsorship revenue functions.

Wagley's career began in New York City as an early childhood special needs educator before he joined MTV Networks as part of the founding team that launched LOGO, the nation's first LGBTQIA+ cable channel. A Dallas resident for 17 years, he has served on Resource Center's Board of Directors and Executive Committee, including during the 2024 launch of Oak Lawn Place and the 2025 opening of Resource Center Health.

Wagley will join Resource Center in November 2026, building on the organization's 43 years of service to the North Texas community. Cece Cox, who has led Resource Center for nearly 20 years, will remain in an advisory role through January 2027 to support the transition. Read the full announcement: myresourcecenter.org/newceo
