A Nice House

When I think about Mother’s Day in the context of this business, so many beautiful, brilliant, loyal, supportive, caring, and creative women come to mind ♥️ Whether it’s the grandmother who always makes it a point to shop with me whenever she needs something special and personalized for one of her children or grandchildren, or the mother who comes to me with her holiday shopping list for all of the hard-to-shop-for / already-have-it-all people in her life, I seem to find myself surrounded by the most thoughtful women. Happy Mother’s Day to you all 🌸 This doesn’t even touch the surface of the most amazing village of friends and family friends, nearly all mothers, who regularly come to me with various ideas and opportunities to help them bring their own visions to life, whether it be a client gift or party favor, or something else altogether. Happy Mother’s Day to you all. 🌼 And then there are the women in my family. My grandmother, who nurtured in me in my youth a burgeoning passion for— and interest in— logistics and how things work on a commercial level. My mother, who regularly makes it possible for me to keep striving forward in my business through her hands-on role as Mimi in my daughter’s life (not to mention, all of the products she shares and models for me 🥰). My sister, who has worked markets with me when visiting town, and who always has an encouraging word to share. Happy Mother’s Day to you all 🌺 And finally, I cannot help but think of all of the wonderful women I’ve had the pleasure and blessing of working closely with, some mothers and some aunties, but all stunningly positive and supportive people. To the women who have mentored me and who mentor me, to the women who have worked for me and who are working for me, to the women who I have had the opportunity to collaborate with and to the ones I am collaborating with now— “mothers” or not, Happy Mother’s Day. Please know that this mother here would not be the same and would not be living this colorful of a life without you being in it. 💐 Thank you all 🫶😘🤗
