Damn Cancer Calendar

Posting an update today. I know I have not been doing much with Damn Cancer lately. I wanted to be vulnerable and share why.
When I started this non profit I was so excited to be able to help so many people. My heart is so big that I just dived right in without thinking about the flip side of the joy that helping others would bring.
I have met so many amazing people that are faced with a cancer battle that is devastating to their lives in every way. I know this devastation first hand. I have beat cancer two times! Praise the Lord! I am grateful and blessed.
In my hurry to set up this non profit and help others I did not take into consideration the toll it would take on me when someone lost that battle.
Several of the people I had helped did not survive and after losing my good friend Tina, I literally shut myself down. I was so sad and tired I didn’t want to face it anymore.
In that time of sadness I did not keep up with you or any of my paperwork to keep my 501c3 with the government. So I have re applied to get that reinstated so that I can once again bring hope to others.
This process takes some time. Hopefully soon I will be back to get this mission moving again!
