Salvation - Don’t let anyone fool you, salvation through Jesus Christ is free, but being friends with God is not free any more than it is free to have a best friend. To have a best friend, it costs you time for chatting or talking on the phone, time for fellowships in person, money for gifts and travels, when necessary, commitment to being there for them no matter what, and more. Yeah, the benefits are great too. All God requires is time for fellowship with him as often as you would do with your very friend. The benefits? Well, they are everything he is, have, and can do. Living Grace
It is grace that brought Jesus to our lives to forgive, save, and show us the way to remain close to him. But you should not take grace for granted or you begin to undermine its flow. Closeness to God, in the Spirit, is always necessary for living in the realm of the partaker of grace for needs in your life, (Hebrews 4:16). Like a signal tower, Grace is magnified when you are close to the source of grace. The Spirit of the living God, is the source of grace. The further away from it, the less clear and receptive the signal power. Does it mean that works are required for grace to be merited? No, the grace that brought salvation through Jesus Christ to you is “not of works lest any man should boast” (Ephesians 2:8-9 KJV). But I am persuaded that there’s also living grace, for needs that demand more than what you can do. The message of living grace is in these two questions – Jesus has saved you and made himself available to you, now what will you do with Jesus? Has he earned being your close friend, or will you just say, ‘thank you very much, I appreciate what you’ve done for me, I’ll take it from here?’ In the world, there will be times when on your own is not going to be enough. You still need living grace.
Within his will, God wants you to live in victory on earth. This is part of your inheritance from him. Living and responding consciously, spiritually, as heir of salvation and more, keeps you close to the ever-beaming signal tower of grace, Jesus Christ, the Lord, in whom all things are always possible! I pray that Grace, will quicken your mind and spirit and keep you connected to his signals. This is my prayer for you, in the Holy name of Jesus Christ, Amen!!!

The Mercy Seat - 4/3/2023
God instructed the design of the Ark of the Covenant and put a seat for himself from where his eyes were constantly looking at some things. They were items in the wooden box that held his commands given on Mount Sinai; a Jar of Mana from the desert; the very Rod of Aaron that had budded in Moses’s Temple. This morning, I was reminded that the eyes of God never look away from where these things are established and set in place. It doesn’t mean that you will never face the turbulences that are common to the earth, only that his presence will always be with you and around you, no matter what, a difference maker every time. I was also reminded that he has called us to add other things to the chest of holy articles from him and carry them with us, Spiritually, at all times, wherever we go. The Blood of Jesus, and all his works in your own life are new things for your chest. Together, all these things form a testimony to him and reminders to you of his goodness, care in love, and power like no other, and stirring unending praise in your heart and spirit. As we approach Easter, this is the call from heaven!

God's Love
I was listening this morning to a video recording of my daughter leading worship at Central Church, Plano, Texas and streams of tears poured out of my eyes. It could have filled a big cup. First, it was for the lyrics of the song and second about how God’s love can be felt and seen in the lives of chosen people for generations, and never let go when we remain faithful. When he anointed me for worship and prayer in 1995, I never knew that he would also extend that to my children. Today, that’s exactly what I see in all three of them, and it’s amazing.
The song lyrics that got me this morning says of God, “You don’t give your heart in pieces, and you don’t hide yourself to tease us….” His love is complete, he doesn’t hold any of it back or stop halfway with it. He goes all the way and forever with his love if we keep looking to him. There’s always more of his love to give, it’s limitless. In this New Year, 2022, my prayer is that you will look to our God often, daily if you can, and receive from him all that his love has to offer you.
