In an effort to get out of my comfort zone, I’ve been playing around with different styles and mediums.
I stumbled upon a reel from the other day and absolutely loved her style. She is a French artist based in the Italian mountains and paints the most whimsical and colorful landscapes. I based these off one of her pieces just to see how it felt and they were so fun to make. I think a hot pink underpainting might be my new favorite thing. She offers prints of her pieces so be sure to check her out!
I used acrylic paint for the piece on bottom and gouache for the piece on top. Do you have a preference?
