Just got off the phone with BookBaby, Amazon's company that will be publishing The West Side Of The Sun. It is not cheap, but they really have figured out everything you need so that your book in its physical delivery to book stores or to individual buyers, does not look or feel like an "Indie" book.

MIBLART is the Ukranian company I am using to design the book cover and jacket. I should get a first proof back this week and I have to say, I'm pretty psyched to be doing some work with Ukraine. They are very nice, and while they mostly do covers for Sci-Fi and Fantasy I think they can make something really pop.

The West Side Of The Sun technically falls under Literary Fiction which have more title centric, less character centric covers. I'm imagining the almost always shirtless dudes of Romance, but the MIBLART people have an idea of my main character, in a suit, covered in a mud, in a gorgeous field. Count me intrigued, it'll be the first depiction of Pat Kearney, ever. That's pretty cool!
