It’s been a BUSY week- another full week of work, kids’ practices & games, and Luke’s basketball season (NMJC). Honestly, I am always the MOST tired this time of the year. 🏀🏡 😴

When I got home from work, I did not want to cook and mess up my kitchen that was cleaned today (anyone else do this?), so I decided we were going to eat out before Marcus’ 8p basketball game.

The kids voted on TJs' Grille & Cantina By DLBC. It was the first time we have eaten inside the restaurant since it changed ownership, and it was delicious!!! I’m BIG on dining in a clean space, with great customer service, and good food, and our first dining experience (post mgmt change) checked all the boxes.

It was so yummy… and I had the best / cutest dates in town! 💕

Today, I made a quick trip to Albertsons and had to dig down deep and decide if I was going to do what I WANTED to do…or what was RIGHT.

The store was a madhouse, but I found a parking spot. However, it was in an aisle without the return area for carts, and far away from the store.

As I pushed my cart to the car, attempting to keep my hood (and rain) out of my eyes, I was kicking myself for not parking closer to where I could return a cart. 😫

I really, really, REALLY didn’t want to walk a few aisles over in the rain to put up my cart, but as much as I thought about it, putting it up was the only option.

Instead of walking my cart one or two aisles over, I took it ALL the way back to the store, so someone else didn’t have to push it back.

Maybe, I was punishing myself for JUST THINKING about not putting it up correctly, but the CORRECT decision was made. 😂

The lesson I learned: it feels good to do what is right.

On a side note - as hectic as Albertsons was, the store was being restocked and the employees were kind, as always!

I’m grateful for that! 🙏🏼
