🌟 Employee Spotlight: Geeta Chakraborty 🌟

At TAKKION, growth is fueled by trust, opportunity, and the incredible people who make an impact every day. This month, we're proud to spotlight Geeta Chakraborty, whose career journey exemplifies what’s possible when dedication meets opportunity.

Geeta recently stepped into a functional leadership role overseeing Data Management and Scheduling within Construction Services, continuing a remarkable career path that has taken her from Office Manager, through an acquired company, to Data Analyst, Sales Operations, and now into leadership.
When asked what motivated her growth at TAKKION, Geeta shared that the trust and empowerment she received gave her the confidence to take on new challenges and continue developing professionally.

One of her proudest accomplishments was helping build the Sales Operations function from the ground up, creating meaningful impact across the organization while expanding her own skills and leadership capabilities.

Throughout her journey, Geeta has developed expertise in data analysis, business application systems, process improvement, and strategic project leadership. She credits much of her success to the support of leaders and teammates who encouraged her growth, challenged her to keep learning, and recognized her potential.

Outside of work, Geeta enjoys spending time with family and friends, prioritizing health and fitness, and finding balance in nature. She’s also known for bringing positivity to the workplace, believing that simple acts of kindness—a warm greeting, a quick check-in, or sharing a coffee or tea—can make a meaningful difference.

Last month, the Wyoming Trucking Association honored two TAKKION team members with some of the trucking industry's most prestigious awards.

🔧 Ceelio Reyes was named Mechanic of the Year, recognizing more than 30 years of dedication to the trucking industry and his exceptional contributions to TAKKION. As Assistant Shop Manager, Ceelio has helped transform maintenance operations, increasing in-house repairs from 42% to 92% while reducing fleet downtime by 40%. His technical expertise, leadership, and unwavering commitment to safety make him an invaluable part of our team.

🚛 Milo Mondle was honored as both the 2025 Driver of the Third Quarter and the 2025 Driver of the Year. With more than 2.5 million safe miles and extensive experience hauling some of the most challenging specialized loads in the country, Milo has earned a reputation for professionalism, precision, and dependability. Beyond his work behind the wheel, he has repeatedly stepped up to help others in critical situations, including assisting motorists during medical emergencies and roadside accidents.

While these awards recognize outstanding individual achievement, they also reflect the culture of excellence, safety, and teamwork that drives everything we do at TAKKION.

🚧 Construction Safety Week 2026: Reinforcing a Culture of Safety at TAKKION

At TAKKION, safety is more than a requirement...it is a core value that drives every project, every task, and every decision we make in the field.

As part of Construction Safety Week 2026, our teams came together in West Des Moines, Iowa, for a company-wide safety event focused on awareness, accountability, and continuous improvement.

This year’s event centered around a simple but powerful concept:
🛑 Stop work when conditions change.
🔍 Reassess risks before incidents occur.
🤝 Speak up when something does not feel safe.

Through open discussions, safety interviews, team collaboration, and leadership engagement, we reinforced the mindset that every employee has both the authority and responsibility to prioritize safety.

Throughout the day, teams reflected on critical questions designed to strengthen our approach to workplace safety:
• What tasks on this week’s schedule could seriously injure or harm someone if conditions change?
• Have proper controls truly been put in place, or have hazards simply been identified and overlooked?
• Are we prepared to stop work immediately when risks increase?

In addition to safety-focused discussions and Q&A sessions, the event also recognized team members for their commitment to safety excellence through:
