I want to thank everyone who supported and voted for me during early voting and on Election Day, May 3. It was a tiring and sometimes grueling campaign season, but now it is over, and I am looking forward continuing my service in representing ALL the citizens of Rowlett.
Our full complement of Councilmembers will not be complete until after the runoff election for Place 6.
In the meantime, congratulations to our new Mayor, Jeff Winget and newly elected Councilmember, Marvin Gibbs. I look forward to serving with both of you.
My thanks and compliments to my Place 4 opponent, Betsy Chapman-White. You ran a respectful campaign, and you were friendly and kind-hearted during the times we greeted voters at the RCC during early voting and election day! It is truly evident that you love our city as much as anyone!
