From a young age, girls dream big—imagining themselves as astronauts, scientists, artists, or leaders. But somewhere along the way, societal biases and stereotypes try to shrink those dreams. The “Dream Gap” represents the space between the boundless imagination of young girls and the realization of their full potential. It’s not a gap created by lack of ability, but by the limitations society imposes on them.

The Barbie Dream Gap Project is dedicated to closing this gap. It aims to empower young girls by challenging gender stereotypes, raising awareness about unconscious biases, and encouraging them to dream without limits. Every girl deserves the chance to chase her dreams fearlessly, and it’s up to all of us to support them on that journey.
