"When my college friend told me they were expecting their first child, I immediately whipped out my knitting needles and made a hat out of the SOFTEST yarn I bought while I was in Norway. Little did I know, this gift would be the first opportunity for me to test out my greeting card and gift tag designs. Obviously, this gift tag iteration did not make it to my Etsy shop (I didn't like the sizing and it was too labor intensive to produce) but I love how it eventually turned into the tags currently available in our Etsy store.

It's too late this year, but should I include these in my Etsy shop next year? They were SO MUCH fun to make and I love how the pumpkins add depth to the whole design.

For those who are interested about how I created these...the background was digitally illustrated in , the pumpkin was embossed and cut with my maker, and of course, I did the calligraphy!

And for those of you celebrating Thanksgiving tomorrow....please please PLEASE be smart and safe about the upcoming holidays. I know quarantine fatigue is hardcore setting in and we all want to spend time with family but PLEASEEE be smart. A negative COVID test doesn't mean you're safe to party.

I love wine and honestly I had wine in mind when I designed my recently launched greeting cards and gift tags. In case you were wondering, I chose the card size because they fit really nicely into these washable paper wine bags from and the gift tags look pretty nice wrapped around some wine. 😍
