Many children we serve through food pantries, YMCA programs, Head Start, and community agencies have few or no books at home. With every donated book and buddy, a child receives the gift of literacy, comfort, and a reason to fall in love with reading.

We’ve already shared thousands of books and buddies, but the need continues to grow.

At Read With A Buddy, we are proud to bring literacy to children visiting local food pantries. As families receive the nourishment they need, children receive a free book and buddy of their own—opening the door to imagination, learning, and a lifelong love of reading.

Every child deserves a full stomach and a story to call their own. Together, we’re helping feed both hunger and hope, one book, one buddy, and one child at a time.
