The Leadership Newton County Class of 2025 has left a lasting mark on our community with their class gift, a commemorative bench placed along the Cricket Frog Trail behind Beaver Park.

This bench reflects the class’s commitment to servanthood, leadership, and giving back to Newton County in a meaningful and lasting way. This gift is an important part of the LNC experience, serving as a reminder of the impact each class makes beyond the program year.

Thank you to the Class of 2025 for this thoughtful contribution that will be enjoyed by the community for years to come.

State Government Day 🇺🇸

Our Leadership Newton County class spent the day in at the Capital for State Government Day, gaining valuable insight into how state level decisions impact our local communities.

Throughout the day, the class had the opportunity to hear from and engage with:
• Harlan Provo, Director of Law Enforcement, Georgia Department of Agriculture
• Clint Crowe, Georgia State Representative
• Tonya Anderson, Georgia State Senator
• Andrew Pinson, Justice, Georgia Supreme Court
• Richard Woods, Georgia State School Superintendent

The class also participated in a guided tour of the Georgia State Capitol and toured the Georgia Supreme Court, gaining firsthand perspective on how Georgia’s state government functions across all branches.

Experiences like State Government Day reinforce the importance of civic engagement, public service, and servant leadership as we continue preparing leaders committed to making a meaningful difference in Newton County.
