This may be one of the most revealing statements you've made in a long time.
Think about what you're actually saying here. You're not talking about one person. You're not talking about a small group of people. You're making a statement about women as a whole, as if substance abuse is somehow the standard and sobriety is the exception.
The problem is that reality doesn't support that claim.
There are women raising children, running businesses, working in healthcare, teaching classrooms, serving their communities, earning degrees, building careers, and handling responsibilities every single day without relying on the substances you listed. Many have worked too hard to throw away everything they've built. Their lives don't revolve around chaos, addiction, or self-destruction. Their lives revolve around responsibility.
As someone who spent years pursuing higher education and recently completed Nurse Practitioner boards, I find this mindset incredibly disconnected from reality. People don't invest years of their lives into building careers, obtaining licenses, and creating opportunities just to casually risk it all. There are countless women who take pride in their accomplishments, their families, their health, and their futures.
What's even more concerning is that statements like this cause people to ask questions. When someone repeatedly speaks as though substance abuse is normal, people naturally wonder why that perspective exists in the first place. After all, our views are often shaped by the environments we choose to surround ourselves with.
If your experience has led you to believe that nearly every woman fits the description in your post, perhaps that says less about women and more about the company you've chosen to keep.
The truth is simple: there are millions of women who do not fit the stereotype you presented. They don't need drugs to function. They don't need substances to cope. They don't need chemical escapes to get through life. They simply handle their responsibilities and keep moving forward.
Maybe that's why this post stands out. It doesn't reveal something about women. It reveals something about the lens through which you're choosing to view them.

Slurring his words and not making sense on his live.

While I've been away celebrating a major personal achievement with my husband, my inbox has continued filling up with messages about this live. After seeing so many people discussing it, I decided to take a look for myself and understand what everyone was talking about.
What stood out to me wasn't the gossip or speculation. It was the overall presentation. As a public figure, every live stream becomes part of your public image. When viewers are repeatedly commenting that you're difficult to understand, seem disconnected from the conversation, or appear distracted from what's happening around you, that's something worth paying attention to. Whether those observations are accurate or not, perception matters when you've built a platform around influencing and engaging with others.
What concerns me most is priorities. Social media can come and go, views can rise and fall, and public attention is never guaranteed. Family responsibilities, however, remain constant. Children need presence, attention, guidance, and consistency. The internet will always be there tomorrow, but time with your children is something that can never be replaced once it's gone.
Another thing I've noticed is the ongoing contradiction between the image being presented and the actions being displayed publicly. Words like "growth," "high vibration," and "success" sound good, but people ultimately pay attention to behavior. Leadership isn't demonstrated through speeches or hashtags. It's demonstrated through responsibility, accountability, work ethic, and the example being set for those watching.
At 45 years old, there comes a point where excuses no longer carry weight. Growth requires action. Success requires discipline. Responsibility requires showing up consistently, especially for the people who depend on you the most. The strongest men aren't the ones who spend the most time talking about their value. They're the ones who quietly prove it through their actions every day.
The public can form its own conclusions from what they witnessed. As for me, I believe that priorities reveal character. When someone's actions consistently tell a different story than their words, people eventually notice the difference.
