I'm proud to say I will be the closing act for this amazing celebration dancing with flow flags representing all of the neurodivergent flow artists and fire performers out there.

Though I've only been diagnosed with ADHD a few years ago, looking back at my 20+ years of performing, it has been a positive influence in being able to engage in the many facets involved in being a multiskilled performer!

Sometimes, I think life would be simpler or better without ADHD but I think it would also be less rich and interesting!

If you're in the Eugene area, please come and show appreciation for the neurodivergent community tomorrow!

I survived! Here's my October Halloween escapades in a nutshell! I'm terrible at posting things on the fly. So here's everything in one lump.

Crazy to think that I spent approx 16 hours at least doing hair/make up/costume donning this month getting ready for gigs. Not to mention driving time.

Interestingly enough, I spent actual Halloween evening at home (probably for the first time in my life) in warm, comfy duds quietly having chili and waffled grilled cheese with my handsome partner, Jim, who was recovering from a cold. We did at least go downtown earlier to stand by eating some ice cream in the chilly rain (I know, not the best treatment for illness but good for the soul) while watching families do the trick or treat crawl.
Felt a little weird to not be among the festivities on my stilts in costume but also a nice break as well!

My next gig will be Dec 3rd at Keizer, OR holiday tree lighting ceremony.

In the meantime I'll be spending November cleaning, repairing, and putting away costumes as well as prepping for our annual winter holiday trip to our casita in Costa Rica where I'm hoping we can make a pair of stilts to entertain kids with down there as well as with fire!
